When E.ON Energy came to us to learn about our online induction training software, we knew that we would be able to support them, having helped many clients in the energy and renewables industry to improve their training systems.
E.ON’s existing induction training system was obsolete and they required something more tailored to their needs. They required a platform to use as an online induction system, which had the ability to record/log contractor and contract company information such as competency certificates and company insurance details.
With their bespoke online induction process in place, E.ON can now easily manage thousands of contractors, employees and new starters; by giving them access to a secure online learning management system. Saving time and improving E.ON’s overall carbon footprint, as it reduces the need for group training sessions, travelling and any training paperwork.
The contractors and engineers can access all of their own inductions and training online, while admin users can monitor and track employees training progress and automate processes to reduce their workloads.
Integrating the user management with E.ON’s other HR systems, means that any changes to user information is automated and updated across multiple systems. James Cartwright, Global Business Manager said:
